In Italy, SIAD has 32 commercial branches, 120 distribution sites, 16 filling stations and 10 production plants, all of which are strategically situated.
The biggest of SIAD's production units is the Osio Sopra (BG) production plant, covering an area of 240,000 m2; its principal products are industrial gases from the fractional distillation of air (oxygen, nitrogen and argon), hydrogen, high purity oxygen, high purity carbon oxide, special gases and sample gases and porous mass for acetylene cylinders.
The production plant capacity was increased considerably thanks to the start up, in September 1997, of a new air separation plant designed by SIAD MACCHINE IMPIANTI, which allows a maximum production of 1,300 tons of oxygen and nitrogen per day.
