Code of Ethics

SIAD’s growth and market success have consistently been in compliance with the group’s core principles and values based on transparency and clarity, which means strict legal compliance, respect for employees, customers, vendors and shareholders, fair competition, a commitment to quality, safety and environmental protection, and operations in line with the principles of social accountability.

The Code of Ethics formalizes SIAD’s value structure: it sets the rules to be followed to ensure that all activities carried out in the various corporate areas are conducted regularly and properly at all times so that acting strictly in compliance with the Code becomes a matter of fundamental importance to protect the group’s integrity and reputation.

The Code of Ethics is an integral part of the Organization and Control Model adopted with a resolution of SIAD’s board of directors passed on 11th July 2008 and subsequently updated on:

  • 29th March 2010
  • 26th June 2014

in order to integrate the document and extend it to cover the new crimes envisaged in the meantime introduced by the legislator, such as those relating to the safety and health of workers, to environmental protection or to the employment of third-country citizens without work permits.

According to the legislative decree 46/97 and the Ministry of Health Guide Lines from 17th February 2010, the promotional content concerning SIAD Healthcare products are restricted to clinical professionals. More details.
